ePropulsion Spirit 1.0 - Shaft Length for Dinghy Use

Ordering an ePropulsion Spirit 1.0+. Looking for feedback on the XS versus S shafts for a small flat bottom dinghy. I have the Achilles LSI260 (8,6") air floor dinghy. Per the below link they recommend the XS up to 15.7" transom height. Mine is 14" so it would be within spec for the XS. Concern is that the blades of the 11'' prop are going to be very close to the water surface. We do venture into the shallow with the dinghy so do not want to add the additional 4" of depth/draft for the S if the XS will do well.

Appreciate all feedback, thank you in advance.

Hey Rob, I'm trying to make the shaft length decision also. Can you share what you finally purchased? Thanks, Steve

I went with the XS and it was the right choice. No issues with the prop depth below the waterline at any speed or in reverse. Here's some pics so you can see my setup. In the first pic you should be able to see the shaft/prop below the waterline.
