Yacht Brokerage in Turkey

Greetings from a chilly Annapolis,Md!

I am looking for a referral to a yacht broker in the Bodrum area. Preferably from your first hand experience in either buying or selling a sailing mono-hull in that area from 40 to 60'.....
Any recommends would be greatly appreciated.

We tried two around Bodrum and found that one didn't respond (Blues Yachting) and another are notorious crooks (Gino Yachting - known to take the deposit or the whole amount and not finish the purchasing process).

We ended up dealing with Peter at Sunbird Turkey in Marmaris, sunbirdmarmaris at superonline [dot] com and can't recommend him enough. He's a very approachable and detail-oriented Einglishman. The whole process was very satisfactory with contracts, guarantees, trustee accounts. Sunbird's main office is in UK, so the approach is European.

Marmaris is only a 3.5 hour drive from Bodrum. You can either take the highway (Bodrum -> Mugla -> Marmaris) or take a ferry to Datcha and drive to Marmaris through the peninsula. Both roads are gorgeous.
