As a tip, I tend to stock up on different kinds of salamies, they don't spoil quickly and are very versatile. And you don't have to keep them in the fridge

When we sailed in we had stocked up but eventually you run out. SO we did a
ferry run and when we came back across at
customs they checked our backpacks and took our pork. Happened twice. Each time each of us had a kilo of bacon and one of us had 6 pork chops and the other a kilo of ham - all taken by
customs.
Now say that in Kusadasi and Marmaris we got pork ribs, pork chops, bacon, ham, sausage, you name it and it was great and not incredibly expensive.
