Re: turkey e-visa online

The web side for application is here:
https://www.evisa.gov.tr/en/.

However almost all of European countries with the exception of the UK citizens, are exempted from visa for up to 90 days of stay. USA and Australian citizens do need visa.
It seems that Turkey has applied reciprocavity principles. These are few the countries that request a visa even for turkish diplomatic passports..

I've checked the foreign ministry web site. The info is not available in english but but it reads that way in Turkish:

South Africa:Official (service) passports are exempt of visa. Ordinary passport holders are subject to visa but free of visa fee. They can get 90 days multi entry visa by applying to the embassies OR 30 days multi entry visa via e-visa through the web site www.evisa.gov.tr.

Pls note that the documents required for e-visa vary considerably form one country to another.. E-visa web site is available in english, french and spanish.

Cheers
