Sigacik Bay, Turkey

Sigacik bay, though it has strong northerly winds, is a place that the cruisers should spend time and enjoy to anchor at safe inlets. At the north side of the bay, in apprx 6 nM coast line, there are at least 6-7 inlets, almost all are sand and very good holding. At the east corner of the bay (38.11.774N-26.47.005E)* there is Teos Marina in which you may have good service and hospitality. The daily price is apprx 40 euros for 38-40 feet, same as Kusadasi. If you prefer to anchor outside, just the front of breakwater is proper, good holding at 10-12 meters and with your dinghy, you can use old fishermen harbour to visit the town. You may find good fish restaurants in reasonable prices and two big supermarkets for groceries in the town.
In the video (below link) you may view one of the inlets called "Bodrum", good shelter and holding. 38.12.606N-26.41.768E
Have a nice sailing.
