The boats are third countries flagged, so obtaining both cruising logs is of course necessary
The problem is about hopping "between the logs" without checking out each time

"The problem is about hopping "between the logs" without checking out each time "
In fact, it is not a problem : I buy a new tansit log each year in Turkey at the marina and I have never been asked anything after (except the Boats papers) in Turkey (even when sailing from Greeece). I bought a transit log in Greece 4 years ago and it is still valid : I do the clearance in and out once a year. In Greece, very often you will see nobody except in Dodecanese Islands because of migration ... Sometimes you have to go to the port police....Nice guys..., except in some spots that everybody sailing in this aera knows and will tell you ... Do not mind !
