San Giorgio di Nagoro/Marina San'Andrea

Question to anyone that has used a marina in this area:

We plan to leave our boat at Marina san'Andrea next fall.

As anyone left their sailboat on the hard for the winter months in this area?If so,was it needed to empty all water and fully winterize boat?

We have been leaving our sailboat in Rome and Sardinia for the last 3 year-end never needed full winterization.

Any input or suggestion about this area would be appreciated.

had our's ashore a mile further up the river winter 99/20: definitely some subzero-days (centigrade)

Re: San Giorgio di Nagoro/Marina San'Andrea

I had my boat in cantieri marina San Giorgio winter of 17/18. I emptied the water tanks and ran diluted antifreeze through the plumbing but otherwise did nothing else
We had one cold spell of about a week, otherwise all fine. Nice place btw, expensive for work, but you can get there by train from Venice. Fantastic restaurant in the marina with great house ref wine.

Where did you leave your boat in Sardinia? We’re considering doing the same this year
