Well we finish up
work this week and fly out from Melbourne on 19/12 arriving
Istanbul for a few days and possibly look at a few yachts there but haven't been able to find many that are not ex-charter but will keep looking.
There are a few
boats around 44'-47' (eg
Jeanneau 45DS,
Bavaria Vision 44 &
Beneteau 46) we are looking at in
Croatia and possibly
Greece and ???
Depending where we
purchase, we will
winter it somewhere within reasonable sailing distance and so a few posts on the forum relating to wintering are very useful reading especially regarding availability &
price.
Head back to Oz early January '14 and return for more adventures during the northern summer.
Been dreaming of this for years and it started to become a reality last year and now it is just weeks away.
