Overwintering in Sweden

Because my work has suddenly become much more intense (and that's a GOOD thing), I will not be able to return to the Arctic which I fell so deeply in love with last summer. Instead, I will move the boat to Finland for the summer, and won't return to the UK.


It will be a near-run thing, avoiding becoming a Finnish tax resident, so the question becomes -- where to take the boat, after the summer?



My second favorite place to sail in the Baltic, after the archipelagos of Southern Finland and the Archipelago Sea (and Aaland! ), is the Swedish archi which stretches from about Vastervik to past Stockholm.



Maybe there? I'm not going to take my mast down (23 meters, and takes two cranes to get it out!) to get into one of the wonderful heated storage sheds there, but maybe there is a good boatyard, not too far from an airport?

Try this one. It's close to Stockholm and looks ok. I have no personal experience of them though.
