On Jan 17 I am taking my
Catalina 320 from Cape Canaveral into the lake via St Lucie Lock. I want to bass
fish for a few days around the lake. I have wing
keel and draw 4.5. A few questions:
1. Anyone ever take the rim
route and can confirm you have to wait for the bridge operator to drive there?
2. What do they mean by taking
fish with gasoline engines prohibited?
3. Think an 11 ft
RIB dingy is at risk from alligators?
4. I understand I can only legally
anchor one night on the lake. Any recommendations??
5 what is the datum lake level. What level is on my chart plotter. Today Corp says it i14.7 ft
6 anyone know how big waves get on lake in maybe 20 to 30 knots?. Don't want to bang bottom
