Need work done In Istanbul

We are in the process of purchasing a 2008 Grand Soleil 50 located in Istanbul, Turkey.

We already had a thorough survey by KALIMBASSIERIS Marine Consultants Co. Ltd., and now we need a rig inspection and rig repairs done. Any recommendations for excellent riggers you worked with in Istanbul?

We will also need other work done, so any recommendations for boat yards that do quality work would be appreciated!

If nothing in Istanbul, how about Marmaris or other Turkish crusing destinations?

Never heard the survey company, but doesn't mean that they are not good.
For any work on the boat, I am sure there will be all kind of people to do the job in Istanbul. Nonetheless, Istanbul will always be much more expensive than Marmaris in terms of marina, haul out (if you need any) and workmanship.
If the boat can safely sail, Bodrum and Marmaris are better options. If you choose to come here in Marmaris, I can help you with the marina berth and works.

We were in Istanbul last year and had a bit of work done at Setur marina - go see Ismael in the yard. He really helped us out. Not sure on the rigging but the folks at Setur are some of the best we have met. Not all Setur are that way but these guys are and we can recommend them highly
