Mooring in Languedoc, France

I am in the final stages of buying a boat which is ashore in Port Napoleon, near Marseille. The monthly fee there is €620 for storage ashore. Once the work is complete, I am inclined to have the boat launched and look for somewhere rather cheaper to leave her until the spring, when I expect to head down the coast to end up in Almerimar, Spain.

I would welcome any suggestions of somewhere to the west of Marseille that might be a bit less expensive than leaving her at Port Napoleon and would have a 15m berth available until March/April.

It depends on your means of transportation.

For example, you could consider Port Camargue, which offers a contract for 6 winter months, from 1st of October to 31st of March or 1st of November to 30th of April, at 1753€ for a boat up to 14.99m. See Tarifs places ? l'ann?e ? Port Camargue

Thanks for that. I see from Tarifs des escales ? Port Camargue that mooring by the month until the end of March is €471 per month, rising to €718 in April-June. Could well be exactly what I need if they have a slot for me.

I tried to get on their site before but the front page was a horrible, jumbled mess on two different browsers.

Yes, it seems the front page of the site refers to all nautical activities in addition to the marina.
