Marinas near Athens

Hello! We are looking for safe and inexpensive marina for long term stay that can be easily reached from Athens (Athens Airport) by public transport. Any recommendations? We have a 37 feet sailboat non-EU flagged, privately owned, not chartered.

Perhaps there are some good marinas a bit further from Athens but which can be easily reached by ferry?

We stayed a Zea and they had a bunch of long term folks there - easy to get around Athens by bus and train - not sure what you are looking for or the price - we were there for just a few days to see Athens and wait our a nasty blow - so no idea on the long term rate you can negotiate

Yesterday, I was checking on the internet about marinas near Athens from where we could go the airport to pick up family members that will join us in the end of July. I was not looking for long term stays but I read many people giving advice for marinas in the islands that can be easily reached by ferry from Piraeus. I am sure that you will get some advice here on this line.

Regarding my concern I was thinking in the port of Lavrion but I gave up the idea since our family comes on a Saturday night and charter fleets occupy the port during the weekend, so I read. I turned my attention to the marinas near Athens (from Piraeus to Cape Sounio) and found them very expensive (still waiting for some emails) except for Zea Marina which I found reasonable priced. I will probably will stay there for 2 nights!
