Karpaz Gate Marina - visit by EMYR 2012

During a recent visit I must say I was impressed by the friendliness and efficiency of the Marina Staff. All the boats were quickly berthed in their allocated slots and we had a very enjoyable time before departing in the very early hours on Sunday.

Great laundry facilities and plenty of space in the ablution blocks! The Market was well stocked and Hemingways provided a great choice of meals at very reasonable prices. It is possible to get chandlery items if you place an order with the technical staff, but a chandlery and yacht sales shop will be opening later this year. It's possible to get all types of gas tanks refilled. Good feedback from live aboards about the yard and haul out facilities - some of whom have taken out a further annual contract now the freebie has expired!

Great news the EMYR is coming back here to Karpaz Gate Marina TODAY and staying untill Sunday. Must be a good place hey?

We are looking forward to meeting up again with the new friends that we made and having a PARTY!!
