Heading to UK east coast, need info

We are leaving the Netherlands soon for 2 month visit London / Essex area. Looking for a reasonably priced place to keep the boat for that time. We plan to do day trips to London etc. The Contessa has 4ft 10 draft. We can also drop the mast easily if it helps to keep the costs down. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks.

Main London marinas are: St Katharine's, South Dock, Limehouse Basin. Otherwise the alternatives include The River Medway and the Essex/Suffolk rivers, all within easy train ride of London.

Your best bet would be to buy a copy of The East Coast Pilot East Coast Pilot Also a copy of Reed's Almanac is invaluble, it is stuffed with information and covers coastal Europe from the tip of Jutland to Gibraltar.
