Greek Liability Insurance, non EU boat

My insurance agent just told me we need $5,000,000 liability insurance for Greece. Noonsite, this forum and the UK cruising forum all say $500,000. Can someone direct me to the official source?

Don't know the link, but last year I heard the requirement. contacted my insurance company (Pantaenius) and they were aware of the new requirement and immediately emailed an updated "confirmation of cover" wit about €6,000,000 coverage

It covers "Maximum indemnity for personal injury and/or property damage"

I have been handed out a paper by the coast guard in Preveza.
They are specifically asking for 500.000 euro, bjt also need a special wording. Our 10.000.000 euro covergae was not good enough, they insisted to get the coverage confirmation with the official wording.
The insurance company was already aware of this and emailed it to me, in greece and english.

Your lucky they accepted an email version of your "blue card" Rabbi. Friends of ours were kept in port for over a week last year while an original letter was priority posted. The earlier email version was not accepted.

The required amount is 500,000 Euro (at least it was last year) and it must be in original form and in Greek.

I just got mine from Pantaenius today. its an email bit ill be sure to print it out on some nice blue paper before I go. Its for 10M USD this year.

Actually they did not only accept it. They have not even seen it. I was allowed to move on without it so we did. They only said they could not stamp my DEKPA without this special insurance paper.
