Gibraltar to Genoa

In the middle of June this year I am planning to sail from Gibraltar to Genoa.

Having been based in Gib for a number of years, I am reasonably familiar with the run up to the Balearics. However, I have never sailed far north of Valencia.

There would appear to be a number of route options for the trip from the Costa del Sol. I am looking to allow about three weeks but can build in some flexibility.

The boat is 15m and draws 2.m which creates some constraints as to marinas.

Do any of you have experience/recommendations to share? They would be much appreciated.

That time of year you have many choices on routes.. follow the mainland from Spain to France and then Italy..
Or go the Island route across to Ibiza, Mallorca stopping at Alcudia before jumping across to Minorca.. from there across to Alghero in Sardinia then up to Bonifacio and Corsica.. worth the visit.. then up the W coast to Ajjacio and finally Calvi before hopping across to Genoa.. or up the E coast..
