Cruising Rallies from NE US to Europe?

Does anyone know if there are any annual cruising rallies (or groups of boats who sail in company) leaving the northeast US bound for Europe--maybe Newport to Kinsale, Ireland, or something along those lines?

World Cruising Club do the ARC Europe back via the Azores. They have a web site.

No - but the Reverse-ARC is called the “ARC Europe rally”.

Yachts gathered at Nanny Cay Marina (BVI) in early May 2009, before departing the British Virgin Islands and crossing the Atlantic in company, calling at Bermuda and exploring the Azores before reaching the European continent at the end of June.
I’m not aware of plans for an ARC Europe 2010, but check out

Welcome to World Cruising Club ARC Europe rally

Thanks...but

Thanks, but I knew about the ARC Europe, which departs the Virgin Islands and Florida--a little out of the way for a Maine sailor. I'm looking for a group that sails to Europe from the northeast US, likely leaving during early summer.

Hi Lenny,
Never yet anyone from Maine who came in company with a sailing rally. Did catch up with a few power guys did it together at 7 knots on on Nordhavens but don't think that happens annually.
Good luck in linking up with others coming same way. If we can help when you reach the EU give us a shout.
JOHN
