Hello,
I made 3 times the crossing through the North and
East coast of
Sicily. Regarding
anchorages inside the main
ports I used Trapani, Castellammare del Golfo and Siracusa. With precaution I used the anchorages of Cefalu and Taormina/Giardini Naxus. In Caloforte (Sardinia) I was able (on my second time on that port) to moor on a public quay inside the port. I also know the south coast of
Italy and part of the east (Adriatic) coast. I often use the anchorage of Otranto before crossing to
Greece. Or further north, in Brindisi, I can moor in the public quay in the centre of the town before crossing to Montenegro or
Croatia. If you need any
advice on the above possibilities I will be happy to share with you.
And yes, Italy Waters, is my guide!
Regards, Vladis
