Croatia and the Adriatic Sea

Island Hopping in Croatia” ~ by Ken Williams
After completing the Nordhavn Atlantic Rally, this couple decided to charter a boat for more Mediterranean cruising while they wait for their new Nordhavn to be built. Join them for tips on where to go in Croatia.

If you’re thinking about visiting Croatia, Bluewater recommends either Imray or British Admiralty charts and Imray cruising guides. The Adriatic Pilot and the Navigation Guide to the Adriatic Croatian Coast are both good choices.

We picked up the Adriatic Pilot (D and T Thompson) to use in Croatia and found it very useful. Nicely laid out and lots of good info. We were quite pleased with it. Latest edition is 2004. (And we really enjoyed our time in Croatia this past June.)
