Crete Clearance and Receiving a Shipment

We are looking to clear out of Greece in Crete, east bound, in late August. Also want to receive a shipment of boat part at Crete from France. Any one have experience and recommendations as to best place to handle both?

The marina in Ay Nickolaos advises they have no room for us and cannot receive shipments. Possibly Porto Gouves? Or Ikralion, but who would receive our pkg?

No one will receive it, unless he has a reason to. I would suggest avoiding the much crowded Iraklio either for clearence or receiving parts, as employees there are often overstreched in late August. Don't know about Ag.Nikolaos but P.Gouves supposedly have mail/cargo services in conjuction with the adjacent hotel (Hotel Marina) and definetely a lot of storing room. Give them a call (+30 2897041112) and also promise them some 50 (euros) of reasons to take care of your delivery (don't quote me on that!!).

Thanks. I fully expect to pay a fee for someone to receive our shipment or even to allow us to receive it ourselves at their address. We have tried contacting the Hotel Marina at P. Gouves via email but have received no answer. In fact, emails bounce for the marina located there, supposedly because their mail box is full. Obviously they are not checking their email.
