There we go! Good ol' 30 knots from the west... at least the straits are predictable in their general windiness!

That's a good strong wind for sure. What size wave goes along with that? I live on the Great Lakes in the United States and we would have about a 6' wave that is short and steep with maybe the top 1' breaking.

Windfinder doesn't show wave heights for this area.

Olbia is 30 NM SE from Arzachena Gulf (on The E side if Sardena) and far more protected from W winds and totally from the wawes from W.
Passageweather.com gives the same wind (than Zygrib) and also the high of the waves for the same day. Here is an abstract with the high of the waves (but waves are not the main problem for the spots you show).
Of course there are a lot of days with calm weather, no wind, no waves.
