Classic boats for live aboard

Hi

Does anyone have any thoughts about using a Classic (wooden) boat for living aboard and cruising in the Med?

Any thoughts greatly received.

Friend of mine did it on a classic Folkboat April to October every year.. then flew home to Oz for summer.
Mind he was young, flexible and crazy.. 😁
