Also does anyone actually know when the new VAT / Schengen rules will apply - will that be 31st Jan 2020 or at the end of the interim arrangement period (currently 31st Dec 2020 I believe) ?
Ohhhhh.!!! Your so Butch.

Re: BREXIT

Spain says "dont worry, dont worry, but ............"

It will come down to the acrimony at the split, if it happens.... each country will react as they see fit.

given that Mallorca alone has 3 million UK visitors each season, and the income from Mallorca alone is the sum total of Spains tax revenue...it is logical that they will tread lightly. But then things dont seem to work out the way everyone thinks of late.......

Question from a Shetlander..

Quote:
The Shetland Question
If Scotland, as a significant minority in the UK, has the right to be treated differently, because it voted differently, the Shetlands, as a significant minority in Scotland which voted 63.7% against independence, also has the right to be treated separately
Boris should let the SNP have their 2nd ind. referendum, if Scotland went it's own way the Conservative majority of 80 would become 128, also move Trident subs to Tyneside, giving thousands of jobs, there are over 200 uk bodies operating in Scotland, they can move to England

In order to cruise the system, 60ft narrowboat at 6'10 beam is the max. I'm getting actively interested from mid-January as I have a few procedures to do prior to then.

I'm looking outside of the Thames as that is not Canal and river trust authority and requires a separate licence. I don't need a mooring.

will be in touch in due course. Thanks, Alex.

Re: BREXIT

EU negotiators will offer British people the chance to individually opt-in and remain EU citizens as a proposal in Brexit negotiations, the European Parliament’s chief negotiator has confirmed.
