Sorry Alex, back to running an under powered barge through central London, no more hyjacks. I think I've said that before.

I think I saw you passing Limehouse on the Saturday before the Jubilee. We had locked into Limehouse around midday.

Re: Atoll's Adventure, Offshore in a Canal Barge!

Funny you should mention that programme....
It was shot last year and I had my boat up on the Salcote channel on the Blackwater.
During the bit where they go up the Blackwater there's a quick glimpse of my boat as they go in and come back out.
I'm usually based at Thurrock Yacht club now.

G'Day Bob,

You really want to be careful about too much documentation, mate. Sometimes those photos interfere with a good story that your memory has, errrr, augmented a bit!

Cheers,

Jim

I concur, as I subscribe to the "older I get, the better I was" philosophy. At least my stories get better. I know your comment was directed to Bob of BobConnie, but I'm the bare assed Bob in the above picture and can assure you a current picture in the same setting would not be the same. So, there is a reason for taking the pictures when your younger. lol
