Anyone with tips on a well organized Catamaran Charter company in Croatia

Hi to everyone,

I am planning a charter week in croatian waters next summer season and I am on the hunt for a professional charter company with a good reputation and service.
We will be looking for a Lagoon 400 or similar size boat and we will travel with 6 adults and 2 children, 1 just about 1 year old and the other one will be 6 years old.
Prices and offers vary greatly depending on the charter company of course but so I assume does the service level or quality of boat. In the end of course I understand that you somehow get what you pay for.

Does anyone of you have experiences with charter companies in Croatia and if yes then please share your experiences in short with me so I can avoid the fould apples right from the start.
I appreciate every help and wish all of you a wonderful summer and good winds in the sails ( or Diesel in the tank ) for that matter.

The company that charter our boat Trend Travel and Yachting have cats in Pula, Split and Murter. The boats from Pitter Yachtcharter always seem well turned out but cannot vouch in any way for what they are like to charter from

Hi Rapanui,
thanks for your reply. Which kind of cats did you charter there? I was at the ACI Marina in Split 3 weeks ago but I did not see an office there with that name on. Might have missed it though, would not put my hand on it.
If you are up for it share more of your experience there.

Trend are an Austrian company http://www.trend-travel-yachting.com/http://and manage bookings. The operation in Croatia is through their Croatian subsidiary SCS. For Split, they are based in Marina Kastela about 15 minutes from the Airport and not the ACI marina in Split itself which is much further.

They have Fountaine Pajot and Nautitech cats. We have a FP Athena 38 in charter with them.

There are lots of good charter companies in Croatia, you are probably best doing a search and offering your shortlisted companies with the boats you like to the forum for comments.

You mentioned Lagoon as a possibility, there are lots in charter in Croatia.

I chartered a lagoon 500 from Navaboats about 3 weeks ago. They are a main lagoon dealer in split. Very good service, boat properly maintained, free wifi on the boat. Transport to and from the local supermarket at no charge.

well well, funny you said that about Navaboats. I was in touch a few days ago with Alenka from Navaboats and she makes a very nice and humble impression on me. I got directly what I asked for and Navaboats is definetly going onto the final list of companies which I will most possibly do the booking with.
Great tip and confirmation that my gutt feeling about Navaboats was right.

Hi Rapanui,

I looked at their website yesterday and sent them a request for a quote on a Lagoon 420 which I liked on their web site. I am curious to see their quote and added services. Their website is not the most sophisticated I have seen but I will not judge uppon that, I will wait and see the rest and I am actually quite positive so far.
