Turks & Caicos

I just read their website on Covid 19, and it still states "Negative Covid test administered by ACREDDITED lab within 3 days of ARRIVAL".

That's going to be kind of tough coming in by small sailing craft by Island hopping down the Exumas.

Look's like Clairance town on Long Island is the closest.

Re: Turks & Caicos

Well, my English comprehension teacher would tell you that "within 3 days of arrival" would include the three days before and the three days after your arrival. Pretty sure that's not what they meant, but it is what they said

Re: Turks & Caicos

I wouldn't think it would be a big issue, to just have them send a nurse with a test kit to the dock if it is that important to them.

But, I don't know, and would prefer someone with recent experience.

I just recalculated from Long Key Exumas, I can just make it in 3 days from the clinic at Clarance town that does PCR tests.

So it's barely doable, and worst case, I argue that I'll stay in Quarantine until they can get me another test.

Re: Turks & Caicos

Noonsite says the PCR test is 72 hours prior to arrival, or
Quote:
Tests can be conducted on island (Providenciales only), but all crew will have to remain on board until the results are received and same is uploaded and approval granted. Therefore, no one will be allowed to disembark until a COVID19 test and negative results are taken and receive approval for entry into TCI.

Re: Turks & Caicos

That sounds doable, Providentials is likely where I need to check in.
