Re: The Reality of Living in Australia and Covid

I'm very disappointed in both the Victoria Police and the rioters in Melbourne today.
It did not make good television.

Both need to lift their game and I suggest study groups are sent to Santiago to learn how to do this properly.

I've probably already bored you senseless about my time there in November 19.
Point of order re the army being on the streets in APCs in that BBC clip ... no they were just the Carabineros - the ordinary police - they have good toys.

I think it was hilarious to watch the footage. After all the tufff talk and chest beating , the demonstrators got together and in the end the police got their asses kicked. I know now they come up with how many hundreds they have arrested but in a communist dictatorship like Victoria , numbers are just plugged out of a hat and given to the loyal media to report. I dont like violance but sometimes it is required especially if the other side is backed so heavily with money and arms and cans of what looked like wipped cream.

Is that why in the footage the rat lickers were retreating at a furious pace away from the cops?

I'll stir the pot for you guys.

If you let them they will do that with every virus from now on. Imagine if we would have treated HIV in 1981 the same way they are locking us down with Covid. The left would have had a meltdown.

Ah.. a post with references to “them” and “they”. Always a sure sign that a well thought-out argument is about to follow.

Keep that nonsense for the non-Australian threads mate.

Nice footage , will be good in the courts. I see the knee AGAIN on a big guy on the floor. So have we learnt anything or do we now need a WHITE guy to die from a knee on his neck????????

Is fair enough if you want White Lifes Matter protests happening , i think the police here in Australia has not learnt a single thing.

I hope the guy is ok but if not that type of news footage is very welcome in court cases.
