README: Transit Related Covid Topics Only

Moving forward COVID threads/posts must be related to Regulations governing or DIRECTLY affecting boating.

Moderating policy on this topic has been updated in response to disruptive political debate and discord associated with this topic. We are a boating board; not a platform for political debate.

This includes national or local entry requirements, health and safety protocols aboard as required by local statute. It does not include general debate about treatment, social response or opinion of or supposition about regs or upcoming regs. General political debate or commentary is entirely off limits.

Community Rules will be strictly enforced in this forum. Posts in violation of the rules may be deleted without notification based on the judgment of the moderators. In addition, posts that exhibit fear-mongering, politically charged statements or other anti-social behavior may result in the author’s posting privileges being restricted. Please be especially cautious about posting politically charged content and be sure to report problem posts. This section of the forum is not intended for debate about Covid, related legislation or governance but rather as an information exchange as outlined above.

There has been a lot of very useful information shared here on this topic, but unfortunately also a good bit that doesn't align with forum rules and so we thank you in advance for staying on topic as outlined above. If you have any questions about this, feel free to message any moderator and thanks for understanding as we work to keep the Cruisers Forum friendly, welcoming and a useful resource for all.
