We travelled from Marathon to Beaufort
over the last couple of weeks, having left before the keys inevitably starts kicking out all the Snowbirds with no exceptions (but that is another discussion)
We experienced no major bridge issues, although we bypassed the Miami
section jumping outside from NoName to Lake Worth
taking advantage of a rare near-perfecr outside window.
The Causton Bridge at mm 580 has a broken non-opening span which can be a bit sphincter-puckering in higher winds and currents, and the Lady's Island Bridge at mm535 has gone to a once per hour, on the hour schedule -because they can. That's already one of the more surly and uncooperative operators on the whole AICW to begin with.
That's as far as we have gotten, or plan to move for a week or so.
