Re: New Lithium setup for off grid cruising - and air conditioning

The O’Kelly’s from YouTube did the same thing last week, check out their video for more details.

I purchased my Mabru from the same guy they did, Andre at GulfNautical.com, who I found on this site in another posting. Happy to have supported the community on here. .

Re: New Lithium setup for off grid cruising - and air conditioning

i had an extensive talk with one of the Tech's at the boat show. They had ac systems there running, hooked up meters to verify amp draw and it was all accurate. These systems draw about half the power of an inverted ac system. But the best part is they are fully modulated, they can efficiently run at 50% max power. So a 12k system can slow down and run at 7k btu, using half the power. 7k btu system running at 3kbtu , drawing very little power. Spoke with3 people running them and all confirmed the power usage is accurate. The days of saying you need a generator to run ac are over.

Re: New Lithium setup for off grid cruising - and air conditioning

I was in the marina, and I saw a Leopard catamaran like mine with a 12V air conditioning by Mabru working with LiFePo, they seam to be very happy with their system, they even did a video https://youtu.be/nFA3FNAHv_I
is there anybody else familiarized with this brand?
