You should not temperature compensate when charging Lithiums. Without temp compensation the charging voltage to the start bank AGM batteries might be a little off spec in very hot or cold conditions.

In the Balmar Programming there is a parameter Temp Compensation which for LiFePo4 is set to 0.


Each installation is different in some way, which makes it difficult to be sure which of a number of alternatives is best. Additionally, battery manufacturers are interested in selling the batteries and may not be as attentive to the details as they should be, or through no fault of their own may be misunderstanding the configuration.
