My two Exide gel
service batteries need replacement sometime in future and while googling around I found this Lifos
Lithium battery:
https://www.lifos.co.uk/products.
In short: • Capacity: 12.8V/68Ah, • Dimensions: L 175 x W 257.5 x H 190mm
• Weight: 7.8kgs -
Price: £699.00 (acc. to e.g.
https://www.force4.co.uk/68ah-lithium-battery.html)
My question is if someone has experience with this
battery? Otherwise, I wonder if this price/spec is about the same than other comparable
lithium batteries?
I would buy two or three of them.
Price is about double of gel batteries (e.g. from svb (
https://www.svb24.com/en/exide-gel-batteries.html)) but considering the long usage this is ok.
What I'm asking myself is, if such lithium batteries are as uncomplicated to use as gel batteries? Also there is a larger model (105 Ah) and I'm usure if it would be worth to 'go a bit over the top' energy-wise when doing such a battery replacement?
