After looking over several hundred past eBay auctions for used LFP cells, many past what I consider EoL
I reckon you could get well over $1400 maybe over $1800 for your 4S bank, assuming the seller handle has good rating
history, ideally at at least a decent volume.
If so, start the
auction at $950 and put a BIN price of $2200.
Sold as a
single 4S/12V unit, advertised as tested to supply over 450Ah@12V, at a 200A rate or less, between Full and 3Vpc. Adjust as you see fit, but best to underestimate the capacity side in case their
gear is inaccurate.
Also if possible publish a tested max discharge rate, as many buyers are
DIY propulsion EV types.
Plus of course they pay actual
shipping costs, easier
sale if you have that lined up ready to quote for their zip code, CONUS only.
BMS need not be included, but turnkey as much as possible at least wrt connectors makes for an easier
sale.
They are of course free to verify upon delivery, so guaranteeing the capacity for say two weeks will sweeten the deal, get a higher price
auction result.
Of course specify past that point "as is, no returns".
Note that allowing free local pickup, require a non-refundable deposit, they pay cash on the balance, will eliminate the eBay / PayPal NQAMBG.
But don't restrict to that or you might as well sell on CL.
Also, do not try to bypass eBay taking their cut if you want to be able to continue to sell. Ask them to give you a 100% positive review once the two weeks has passed, and reciprocate for their rating as buyer.
Hope this helps, and I realize this is irrelevant, but while the above pricing may be "the market",
personally I couldn't sleep at night taking such advantage of know-nothing noobs.
