Charge start LA battery from shore power in Li set up

I’m installing a Li house bank with a LA start battery.
I will have a Victron 50 dc to dc to charge the Li from start battery.
I leave the boat on shore power for up to 6 months with no solar.
The Li has a Bluetooth BMS that allows me to turn the battery off.
My plan is to turn off the Li battery and use the combine 1 off 2 switch and have the inverter charger keep the start battery charged. I can change the charge profile back to LA while in this mode.
Does this make sense?
Regards

Personally I'd go for the simple route and just install a small charger dedicated to the start battery.

Drop 50 bucks on a 6 amp marine battery charger and wire direct to the start bank and call it good.

Or if your like me install the guest 1.5 amp maintainer

Re: Charge start LA battery from shore power in Li set up

I would be extremely not comfortable leaving my boat on shore power for 6 months. Not to mention galvanic corrosion. What purpose of shore power besides charging your start battery?
If none, Get solar tickler charger for you LA.
Or just disconnect your starter LA completely and call it a day - 6 months LA can handle without charger.
Another option is get shore power cable adapter to AC normal socket and connect to your tickler directly bypassing any boat AC wiring.
