Better/larger lithium battery?

I took a look online and the lithium batteries sold are mostly packaged in the same form factor as current acid-lead batteries. These lithium batteries have rather low capacity, only 2kwh . This is much lower than the capacity on Tesla model 3, which has 75kwh. Granted that the model 3 battery is heavier, but the capacity on per weight is also higher in model 3.

Anyone know of sources of bigger batteries? Those used in electrical conversions?

Re: Better/larger lithium battery?

A tesla uses lithium nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) batteries. The LFP batteries you are likely referring to are lithium iron phosphate.

https://www.mgenergysystems.eu/ does make NMC batteries for marine use but I'm not sure how widely they are used.
