Batteries in parallel and continuous discharge

I dove head first into the lithium battery for house Bank deep end over the weekend and I have one question I would like to ask the forum if anybody would be so kind as to give me an answer.

Let us say you have a two battery 200 amp hour lithium Bank wired in parallel. That is two 100 amp hour batteries with a c rating of 1. These batteries would have a 100 amp continuous discharge. If I put a load of 200 amps on these batteries in parallel do I get 100 amp continuous from each battery totaling 200 amp continuous to the load?

Re: Batteries in parallel and continuous discharge

If I am understanding your question correctly then the answer is 'yes'.

The load of 200 amps will completely discharge the bank after 1 hour. Each battery will have contributed 100 amps each.

Thanks,

Yes that's what I thought I just wanted to ask the dumb question so I could be sure.

Love that quote by the way!
