B2b charger

As anyone used a B2B 60A charger with a 60A alternator
If so have you had any problems .

Its "VERY" likely all you will see is smoke. A 20 Amp unit would work it hard.

Alternators are rated for output when they are cold, as they heat up, they are capable of less power. Usually the hot output is at least 20% less + 10-15% less to improve longevity. So your 60a alternator probably capable of 60a x .7 to .65= 42a to 39a continuous hot.


I would think a 20a DC DC would work fine.
