I noticed that these guys are running a 20% Fall discount on their batteries with integrated BMS. They claim high reliability, and an impressive customer list.

$1600US for 200Ah or $2400 for 300Ah seems like a pretty great deal right now.

Isn't Lithium Ion a bad idea for boats? Don't you need active cooling with these?

Yes, lifepo4 is safer and used for marine.

They are made with LiFePO4 chemistry cells if you dig into the details on the site. That said, they're pretty expensive compared to market even with the "sale".
