Privilege Series 4.9

In my continuing quest for a 45 to 50 foot cat, I have been seriously considering a used late model Privilege.

I recently found info on a Series 4.9 Privilege, but can find no other listing or information. Does this boat exist? Thanks all!

I have seen a listing in Spain but it was not a real thing. A broker (dealer) simply listed the data and images and you could see they were only copies from the boatyards' website (easy to tell apart as they mixed up two different styles of side windows ...).

The proper 4.9 long side windows I have seen them on bigger Privileges but never on anything below 50.

So, if it exists, there will be very few (maybe one) around.

My earlier research on the same boat returned zero units on the s/h market, if that helps. (That was in early 2016, Med area)

Otherwise, Privileges are very nice boats. Both old and new.

Thanks man! Interesting info to ponder. I liked the galley down and island berths, which is what I'm looking for.

BTW, does anyone have more posts than you?

The 4.9 was the final update of what was previously the 495 and the earlier 465. Essentially all the same boat but with different interior fit out and either 3 or 4 cabin layout. Galley up or down was always an option. Most chose up so there aren't many galley-downs around.


I believe the 4.9 is no longer listed but by Privilege Groupe Privilège Marine - Chantier naval - Privilège - Yacht bateau de croisière de luxe but they'll probably build one for you if you want.
