If you have "mid teens performance with at least 20 kts AWS..." "carrying a 1.5 oz assymetrical alone at 25 kts AWS and 160 - 200 AWA --" then you're carrying WAY TOO MUCH sail for conditions. That would put true wind
above 35kts. If you round up or get spun or stuff your bows going down a wave you're flirting with capsize
If that's typical you lack good judgment, IMHO. I wouldn't carry a spinnaker
on a cruising boat
in more than 20 knots true, especially without having the main up to be able to blanket the spinnaker
(so it can more easily be taken down if the wind
