Privilege 39 Question

I am posting this for a friend who is unable to post. He has a 1993 Privilege 39 catamaran. Recently, the jib furler seized up and refused to turn. It looks like a Pro Furl unit, but has no markings of any kind. In taking the unit apart to identify the problem, he managed to damage some of the parts and he now expects he will have to replace the lower unit, but he is unable to identify the make and model. Have any other Privilege 39 owners had a similar problem?

Pro Furl units are very well marked and are yellow anodized making them visually the most unique furlers on the market. You would know if you had one.

Z Spars furler make a lot of unmarked furlers.

Could be the lower bearings or the black plastic insert that fit between the aluminium sections , with a slack furler the black plastic insert torn away and the furler get jammed...

The color, etc looks like a ProFurl, but it has no identification on it. See photo. It is not known if it was original equipment or it was installed later. It doesn't look like any current model of ProFurl. Any idea what make or model?

It does look like a Profurl but they are usually well marked. Privilege often use Facnor FACNOR furling system which, in my case, don't have any visible identification.

Looks like same factory-fitted ProFurl I have on my 1993 43' Privilege. Bearings are user replaceable.
