Helwi I would not be surprised if you cannot find a surveyor free this close to
Christmas. Not to mention it looks like Moruya is in the middle of nowhere so it could be a $800+ day for a surveyor to just go have a look.
The yacht looks good in the photos, but it's the bits you cannot see that are the real concern. I would be paying close attention to the
deck hull join.
Plywood on
steel can be an issue if it is not properly done. I see the
rigging is reaching the end of it's life as well. Here in
Australia 10 years is usually it and then the insurer wants it replaced. The yachts been well used so it's due. That's normally costing $5000+.
