I’ve Posted this question in the general Forum, but thought I would Post it over here in the Australian forum section.
I’m currently looking at a 38 to 40 second hand
boat. I’m considering the Mustang 3800 and the Riviera etc.
As the
boats are over 10 years old I was wanting to do some further
research on what are the ongoing costs etc.
In particular;

Insurance costs on a $120,000
boat
# Annual
service costs or must replace
parts costs
I’m seeing adds that often refer to manifolds, risers etc being replaced etc.
Petroll versus
diesel was another consideration.
I’m thinking of having this boat in the Hobart Tasmania area and would be keen to see owners thoughts on getting Petrol in the Tasmania area. I see
MAST indicate that there is limited petrol available at sites. Not sure if they are up to date on petrol bowser sites?
Any thoughts would be helpful.
