Newbie in Sydney

Hi all,

Brand new here and we've just bought a Bayliner 305 and live in Barangaroo.

Apologies if this has been asked, but I did search for 'Sydney wharf' and 'Sydney pick up' and couldn't find.

Where are we allowed to pick up friends in Sydney? By that I mean a pier/wharf without having to pay a fee?

Thanks in advance!

Hi and welcome. I have used the wharf on the eastern side of the opera house several times as well as a number of minor ferry wharves around the harbour, just stop and collect or drop off and go, no tying up and waiting.

Re: Newbie in Sydney

Using a Harbour wharf can be problematical....usually a wash......... so I use the wharf at the end of Punt Road at Gladesville.......because there is parking close by......and it is rarely used.......by anyone.......and has steps......and not used by ferries.......so embarking and disembarking.....for guests not accustomed to the vessel moving about....can be more leisurely......some other ferry wharves close by also.......
