Coral Sea Trip

Hi

We are making two trips to the coral sea marine park this season sometime in late June/July/August.

First (probably early July) will be Bundaberg to Lady Musgrave to Suamarez reef to Marion reef, back via Hydrogrophers Passage to Mackay - approx 10 days.

Second (probably late July/early August) will be Mackay via HP to Diamond Reef to Flinders reef and then Palm Passage to Magnetic Island and Townsville - approx 10 days.

We are patient and will wait for a good weather window via Predictwind which will give us reasonable certainty of good conditions for the whole period and we have found 10 days to be a good provisioning window for us.

We would welcome any other boats who are interested in sailing along with us, with the usual caveats that we take no responsibility for any other person or boat. Optimally you would need sat phone or iridium go in order to keep in touch, and you would have to be prepared to wait in Bundaberg and/or Mackay for an appropriate weather window.
