Caribbean 2020/2021

We are shipping our boat to St. Thomas in November. We are looking for a safe and not too expensive parking spot for the boat when we are not using it. Our plan is to spend a few weeks on it after the delivery. Then head back to work for about a month. Then head back to the boat for a month with subsequent visits of a few weeks each in between working in Boston.

Any suggestions on a parking spot? I would prefer a mooring if we can find one that is secure and that could be checked on weekly by a caretaker.

Thanks

Did you find a place to park?
Are you using your boat in USVI as often as you anticipated?

Not yet. A new wrinkle is that our insurer is waiting on giving us an endorsement to move the boat south pending COVID 19 impacts later this year,

It's pretty crowded there right now. You might have a problem finding a spot.

Here's an article about the situation.

Jolly Harbor, Antigua has moorings. Well protected. Run by the marina.

There are also a lot of private villas along the canals at Jolly. Many have docks that can be rented separately.
