Available Slips or Moorings in New Hampshire

I just purchased a 54 Hylas which is located in Rhode Island. The plan was to keep it there but as I am a 35 year resident of NH I would like to find accommodation here in NH. Great Bay marina is out of the question because of the bridge and Wentworth by the Sea would be great but the wait list is long. The boat has a draft of 7'6" and air draft of approx 83'.

Anybody know of an available mooring or slip?

Thanks

I responded to your other thread. Kittery. There are more places to keep a boat in Kittery than Portsmouth. Did you definitely check all of the marinas on that side of the river?

Also, how about the mooring field at Kittery point? There are a lot of different types of moorings there. Check with the harbormaster for just a seasonal rental.

Pretty large mooring field at Wentworth as well. Is there a big waiting list to get onto those seasonal mornings?

As far as great Bay Marine goes, you could unstep the mast and put it there. You would just have to bite the bullet on the fact that you couldn’t really go sailing. You would have to basically just do whatever work you need to on the boat before you leave for cruising. But it’s a lot shorter of a drive I’m assuming than Rhode Island. Especially when summer traffic is involved.

Thanks for the response - Kittery is a beautiful spot but putting a boat in Maine would trigger a tithing that I would rather avoid, same with Massachusetts. I will have to look into seasonal moorings around Wentworth - I don't believe they rent moorings but perhaps somebody does.
