I doubt a declaration by CF members to Putin to cease fire is much use.. argue is all we've done for the past two years.

It's a shame the U.S. didn't help arm Ukraine with anti-aircraft capability. They probably didn't want to provoke Russia, but this is the unfortunate result. Most of what they have is probably old Soviet technology, and next to useless.

It will depend on how long they want to hold out.

and if it is any consolation my mother lives just over the border from Ukraine.
