Best route from Amsterdam to Mediterranean via Channels and rivers

Hi everybody,
i just trasfered my boat from UK to Italy navigating via English Channel, Le Havre, Paris, Lion and finally st louis du Rhöne i entered the med.
1300km 178 locks, was quite a trip, documented with many photos

Yesterday a dear friend asked me to help him to transfer a motorboat Menorquin 42 FB from Amsterdam to Italy.

From Amsterdam north sea until France and navigate only french channels, or via Germany bonn koblenz and joining france at Chalon-sur-Saône? Or other paths?
Which one is the fastest,easiest and more convenient?
This will happen in few months, maybe next spring.

This trip from Amsterdam to the Med is done by many.
A leading dutch sailing magazine published an article about best routes etc.
It is in dutch but copy and paste to google translate will do...
